While the world sympathizes for the Ukraine during the Russian invasion, African citizens in the country have been left stranded and turned away at the borders. A “special military operation” was ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday February 24th 2022. According to the united nations, Over 100,000 people in Ukraine have been displaced. Yet black refugees are reporting that they’re on their own.
